Eclipse Revisited
I had absolutely no faith in David Slade doing Eclipse justice.
but he pulled it off,
and blew away my expectations.
The meadow scene took my breath away.
The bedroom scene held me at a silent squeel.
The Twilight Edward was back.
The love story...
I loved this movie just as much as I loved the book.

Eclipse. Chapter 20. Compromise (Edward makes it official)
... "Do you mind if I do something?" he murmured, his arms tightening around me.
"Anything you want."
But he let me go and slid away.
"Anything but that," I complained.
He ignored me, taking my hand and pulling me off the bed, too. He stood in front of me, hands on my shoulders, face serious.
"Now, I want to do this right. Please, please, keep in mind that you've already agreed to this, and don't ruin it for me."
"Oh, no." I gasped as he slid down onto one knee.
"Be nice," he muttered.
I took a deep breath.
"Isabella Swan?" he looked up at me through his impossibly long lashes, his golden eyes soft but, somehow, still scorching. "I promise to love you forever - every single day of forever. Will you marry me?"
There were many things I wanted to say, some of them not nice at all, and others more disgustingly gooey and romantic than he probably dreamed I was capable of. Rather than embarrass myself with earlier. I whispered, "Yes."
"Thank you," he said simply. He took my left hand and kissed each of my fingertips before he kissed the ring that was now mine.

This is the scene Where Bella's Eyes meet Edward's.
And in that instant,
she sees very clearly
exactly what she wants.
She grabs a piece of broken slate,
and stabs it deep into her arm.
With her blood dripping into a pool of blood
over the white snow,
Riley and Victoria,
Ravaged by the smell of her blood,
turn to Bella,
long enough for Edward to make his move...
...I'll leave it at that...

I got that from reading the script.

'Twilight' crash scene makes 4th best 'Movie Moment of the Decade'
What was an absolutely pivotal scene for 2008's Twilight has made its mark on the film community. Moviefone has listed Twilight's car crash scene (with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson) as one of the "Top 25 Movie Moments of the Decade."
Of course, the translation of this scene from book to film was of utter importance to the validity of the film, so it had to be perfect. While there were some slight variations made to the scene, for the most part it was pretty dead-on.
4. Edward saves Bella from a car accident in 'Twilight' (2008) The movie that propelled a phenomenon, this scene had pre-pubescent girls and middle-aged women equally putting their hands over their eyes.

David Slade "Intense" love triangle and action sequences
Director of the third film David Slade has claimed in his Twitter updates that the focus of the film is still the love Triangle between the three characters Edward Cullen, Bella Swan, and Jacob Black, which is matched with action sequences, Aceshowbiz online reported.
"Edward seems to be a really strong presence, the intensity of the love story and rivalry between Jacob is in the driving seat," said Slade tweeted on Friday.
The character of Edward is played by British actor Robert Pattinson, who is rumoured to be dating co-star Kristen Stewart in real life.
"Jacob & Bella are matching with intensity and it's all even with the action sequences. Right now we are in a great state of balance," Slade further added.

Still Nit-picking
When I saw this photo, I just assumed it was a scene from New Moon...maybe Bella dreaming? I couldn't wait...so now I'm wondering...what was this scene and why the fuck didn't Chris Weitz include it in the move?
