We have all seen it coming...
1st Clue...David Slade was director.
I don't give a fuck that he is some very cool
vampire director with a new vision on movies.
He doesn't exactly reek of romance.

2nd...Every frickin actor that talks about this flick
manages to say "It's more geared towards the guys",
"It's more of an action flick". Hearing those words gave
me the woolies every time someone opened their mouth.

3rd...DEAD Silence in Summit Land
For a looong time.
No pictures
No trailers
No sneak peeks
Nada
Nil
Nuttin
Then David famously tweets about "...adding more Edward".
Everyone starts to freak out at this point.
Mysteriously a shit load of very intimate Edward & Bella pics
"leaked".
Leak my ass.
Summit wanted to settle everyone down.

4th...They fire their Editor on March 3rd.

the studio is not placing the blame on Jones,

when it's time for "Breaking Dawn"

Last week, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse director David Slade let everyone know that the film was in "phase 1" of "director's cut" screenings with the film studio, Summit Entertainment.
As noted back then, that screening would probably not be of the final cut, and edits would likely be required by the studio for one purpose or another.
Today, David Slade confirmed the fact that edits are now happening, saying "Cutting like crazy, the film is getting closer working through the weekends again, adding more EDWARD!"
Adding more Edward (portrayed by Robert Pattinson)? Probably a good idea. While The Twilight Saga: New Moon was expected to have less of "Edward Cullen" in the picture and more of the werewolves (namely, "Jacob Black" by Taylor Lautner), Eclipse is - literally - a different story.
Back in December, Slade promised fans that "Edward seems to be a really strong presence, the intensity of the love story & rivalry between Jacob is in the driving seat," but he also stated that there was a "great state of balance" and that "it's all even with the action sequences."
Looks like the studio cuts are beckoning the weight of the balance to favor the relationship end . . .
