'Twilight: Eclipse' reshoot rumors not true. Remember the post we made a couple of days ago regarding Summit Entertainment

bringing back original "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke

and "Twilight Saga: New Moon" director Chris Weitz to reshoot some seens in their highly anticipated third installment titled "Twilight Saga:Eclipse?" Remember how we mentioned "Eclipse " director David Slade woud not be a part of those reshoots due to creative differences with the studio? Consider that post false...well sort of.

According to Gossip Cop, Catherine Hardwicke didn't reshoot any seens for "Eclipse", however, there are a few scenes from the movie

that are being reshot, but by the film's director David Slade in Vancouver before the film hits theaters June 30th. Apparently, reshoots for the movie have been planned for quite some time, at least that's what a studio rep is reporting. "The reshoot was planned for months, like it is with the majority of the films."

It looks like the rumors regarding Hardwicke and Weiz reshooting the scenes was just an attempt for various website to drive traffic. "Reports much like the one earlier today are ploys to drive traffic without any merit and without any support from the studio on what is actually going on or true."
