Rob's learning how to deal with his fame...

Robert Pattinson is slowly coming to terms with being confronted by paparazzi and screaming girls at every turn, the Twilight star has revealed.

After nearly being driven crazy by his status as heartthrob-of-the-moment, the British actor is now learning to "accept" his sudden rise to fame, and the obsessed fans that have come with it.

"You try and stay kind of Zen about it,” he says. "You just have to learn to accept it all.

"I guess the whole thing is that you don't want to wake up one day and realize that you've turned into someone who you weren't before. And it wasn't your choice. That's the danger. And you can't get it back again.

"That's the only scary thing, but it's always really up to you. Most of the time you can control it to some degree.”

He adds to the Daily Record: "It was driving me nuts a couple of months ago, but you just learn to deal with it. There's no point in being negative.

"If you keep saying, 'oh I hate this, I hate this' then you go crazy, because you can't stop it."

As for the reality of his existence right now, Rob says he's shielded as much as possible from the madness surrounding him.

He reveals: “I have all these security men who, whenever I'm going out of the building, I'm carried to places. I've never even heard anything."
