Finally!!
But then Robert Pattinson has always been at pains to point out that he is very different to the elegant, forever-17-year-old vampire that he plays in the Twilight films.
The heartthrob, who tries to avoid the limelight, looked more like one of the grizzly werewolves which are rivals to his vampire clan in his latest movie, New Moon.
Pattinson, 23, was spotted leaving his home in Barnes, south-west London with his elder sister Lizzy.
He has been home for the festive period after a busy year shooting in Canada and the U.S. for films including Twilight films New Moon and Eclipse, and Remember Me, which is due out in April.
And, so far, there has been no sign that he has hooked up with his on-screen love Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella, and is rumoured to be his real-life girlfriend.
Lizzy, a singer, used to dress the actor as a girl until he was 12 and introduce him to friends as Claudia.
He said: 'Twelve was a turning point as I moved to a mixed school and then I became cool and discovered hair gel.'
His beard could well be an attempt at a ruse for the paparazzi and fans.
The actor has been adding to his security team due to increased attention from fans.
He told MTV: 'People ask me to bite them and want to touch my hair.
'I just don’t want someone to have a needle and give me HIV and I don’t want to get shot or stabbed. This is my life.
'People know my name and ambush me in public and try to figure out what hotel I’m staying at. I have accepted it as real now, but it still feels surreal.'
Yeah Katrina, we don't understand....Bitch

'Twilight' crash scene makes 4th best 'Movie Moment of the Decade'
What was an absolutely pivotal scene for 2008's Twilight has made its mark on the film community. Moviefone has listed Twilight's car crash scene (with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson) as one of the "Top 25 Movie Moments of the Decade."
Of course, the translation of this scene from book to film was of utter importance to the validity of the film, so it had to be perfect. While there were some slight variations made to the scene, for the most part it was pretty dead-on.
4. Edward saves Bella from a car accident in 'Twilight' (2008) The movie that propelled a phenomenon, this scene had pre-pubescent girls and middle-aged women equally putting their hands over their eyes.
The Number one "Movie moment of the decade?

Rob's dream job: Musician
The 23-year-old star plays the role of dreamy vampire Edward Cullen in the hit Twilight Saga but said that music is his first passion.
He said to UK magazine Company: 'The acting thing happened by accident, a fluke. What I wanted to be was a musician, and play the piano in bars. I wanted to go to Nice and play on the beach in a tuxedo.
'I thought that was cool. It's such a romantic idea. All you have is your one tuxedo [laughs]. That was my dream job growing up. I haven't written any songs for a while though.'
The actor, who is rumoured to be dating his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, was asked what is still in his room at his parents' house.
He said: 'What does it have in it? I think I had a poster of Kate Moss in there. I had posters of Linda Blair [from The Exorcist] and Kate Moss!'

No Hot Hookup For Robert Pattinson and Katy Perry
Can you really blame Katy for flirting with Rob? Right. Neither can we!
If you were shocked to see your beloved RPatz leaving an LA karaoke bar with pop tart Katy Perry on Dec. 16, you can set your mind at ease: there isn’t anything going on between the two.But that’s not for a lack of trying on Katy’s part, a source tells us. The two arrived separately at Dimples in Burbank, Calif. for actress pal Shannon Woodward’s annual soiree and had little interaction at all — until Katy coyly tried to make the Twilight star sing his heart out.
“Rob was there with his buddies drinking scotch and smoking cigarettes. He wasn’t paying any attention to Katy at all,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com.
Adds a second source, “Katy was sitting with her friends, but she kept on coming over to try to get him to sing, but he wouldn’t have any of it. He was having a guys night with his friends and clearly wasn’t interested in any romance at all.”
Confirms the first source, “There was definitely NO flirting on Rob’s part. It was very platonic.” (We’re sure Rob’s alleged paramour, Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, is glad to hear it!)
But what about those snaps of the two – who have attended Shannon’s fete for the second year in a row (though separately) — heading on to the Renaissance Hotel together?
“They headed to an afterparty together. Everyone at Shannon’s party was going,” says the second insider, adding, “Dimples was shutting down for the night and everyone had to leave.”
Katy, at least you still have Russell Brand to keep you warm at night! Don’t think we didn’t catch your comedian boyfriend leaving your house on Dec. 17 to say goodbye to you before he headed home to the U.K. for the holidays.
Our advice to you? Stick with Russell. He’s clearly way into you. Although we must say, we applaud you for trying it on with Rob — we would have done the same!

Fan with Swine Flu Kisses Robert Pattinson
Robert Pattinson is reported to have freaked out about a fan jumping from a car and running up to him and kissing him on his lips.
That is to be expected most would think given Robert Pattinson's popularity and status with females of all ages. Well it might have been a little more acceptable for him ,if the fan hadn't said to him that her mother didn't want her to get out and meet her idol because she was just getting over the Swine Flu!
The National Enquirer reported that Robert Pattinson shoved the fan away and yelled "You have the Swine Flu?... What the hell are you doing kissing anyone?"
The Twilight Saga star was also reported to have said to his body guards "You have got to keep those crazies away from me!" Pattinson has revealed in previous interviews that fans have tried to bite him.
Robert Pattinson revealed "People ask me to bite them and want to touch my hair. This is my life. People know my name and ambush me in public and try to figure out what hotel I'm staying at. I have accepted it as real now, but it still feels surreal."
If this story from the National Enquirer is accurate ,surely the excitement of spotting her idol on the streets over whelmed her good judgment, but you can't blame Twilight 's Robert Pattinson for getting upset .Right?

David Slade "Intense" love triangle and action sequences
With 'New Moon' being panned by critics, makers of the third 'Twilight' saga film are trying to maintain an interesting balance between action sequences and the love triangle in 'Eclipse'.
Director of the third film David Slade has claimed in his Twitter updates that the focus of the film is still the love Triangle between the three characters Edward Cullen, Bella Swan, and Jacob Black, which is matched with action sequences, Aceshowbiz online reported.
"Edward seems to be a really strong presence, the intensity of the love story and rivalry between Jacob is in the driving seat," said Slade tweeted on Friday.
The character of Edward is played by British actor Robert Pattinson, who is rumoured to be dating co-star Kristen Stewart in real life.
"Jacob & Bella are matching with intensity and it's all even with the action sequences. Right now we are in a great state of balance," Slade further added.

Robert talks about Edward Cullen

How Twilight changed Rob's life
“Twilight” Robert Pattinson says his sudden rise to fame was just that — too sudden — turning it into a “bizarre” experience that has had more than a few negative consequences. In “New Moon,” he is a much less visible presence, turning over star duties to Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob Black, the shape-shifting werewolf. Jacob becomes a love interest of Kristen Stewart’s character, Bella Swan.
Rob’s character, Edward Cullen is a secondary to the plot, appearing mainly in Bella’s visions. Rob has no regrets about that.
To the contrary, he relished taking a back seat, because it took some of the pressure from “Twilight” off of him and redirected to Taylor, who will be starring in an upcoming show “Saturday Night Live” ahead of Rob, who reportedly turned it down.
Since “Twilight” debuted in 2008 and became an international phenomenon, that pressure has been unrelenting, he says in a new interview in the Italian edition of Vanity Fair magazine.
“It’s bizarre becoming famous in this way. Believe me. it’s something that I never wished,” he says, according a translation of the article from Italian to English.
Rob says he is looking forward to getting some normalcy back in is life, but sadly it won’t be focused as much on music, one of his first loves.
“I was in my first band when I was 15. Now I play piano and guitar, sometimes, but only for myself. I can’t do concerts [or have a serious music career] because I will always be known as ‘the guy from ‘Twilight’ who wants to be a musician.’”
And, he plans to swear off girls for a while because he knows it would be difficult to have a relationship under the current circumstances.
For one, he says he will constantly have a security detail in tow for the foreseeable future, something he regrets, but knows he can’t do without.
“It’s totally crazy, I know, but I am getting use at it. It’s only because, when I’m without my bodyguard, I am afraid: it is nearly impossible even to come out from a restaurant and get in a car,” he says.
But he draws the line on his entourage there. “I have no personal press agent and I want to avoid this,” he says.
“I clearly don’t want my life to become a reality show. In fact, if I see a photographer I go the other way. I give only a few interviews and I don’t do public appearances, if it is not necessary to promote a movie. I don’t want people to get tired of my face.”
Don’t worry Rob, that’s one thing you probably won’t have a problem with — for better or worse.

One of my favorite scenes from New Moon
I love the way Chris Weitz incorporated the Meadow Scene in New Moon. It was the only point in the movie where it felt like Edward and Bella from Twilight. That's what Catherine Hardwick did so well. You felt the chemistry between the two....something Chris failed to do. How differently the reunion scene would have turned out if Catherine was in the director's chair...It would have been intense, like it should have been.

Another "He doesn't want this" video
Does anyone else see the fucking Irony of making these videos???
Look, I don't mean to be a harsh bitch, but isn't the whole purpose of "Rob doesn't want this, neither do we" campaign to send a message to the paps that the fans don't want them getting in his face taking his picture while invading his privacy? YET these very same fans are using THE same pics the paps took to promote their cause?...
...(I'm not done yet) Did it ever occur to anyone that maybe, just maybe, Rob pulls his fucking cap over his eyes or puts his hand up to block his face so the flashes from the cameras doesn't blind him while he walks?....
Or...
How about a campaign to stop fans from fucking screaming in his ear when he walks by or shoving their shit at him for an autograph.......
Case in point....
.
Double my pleasure!

Pattinson poster sparks swine flu fears.....LMFAO
The British actor's fans were found kissing the poster, forcing the cinema staff to stop them from doing so to prevent spreading germs and even swine flu.
The staff have stuck a note to the cut-out that reads: "Please help reduce the spread of germs by refraining from giving Edward, or any other character for that matter, a kiss or a hug."
"We put the sign up because of swine flu. If people started kissing him it could spread. We have to be more careful now," said supervisor Mandy Taylor.
Pattinson, who shot to overnight fame with his turn as vampire Edward Cullen in the saga, is a craze among female fans currently.
"The film was so popular that our performances were sold out for the first week. The girls were coming in and having their pictures taken. They were getting a bit carried away and in the nicest possible way we said 'Don't kiss him'," Reel Cinemas Managing director Kailash Suri said.

Chris Weitz defends woman in film's taping
Tumpach was found with about three minutes of "New Moon" on her digital camera. She says she was taping her sister's birthday party at the theater and wasn't trying to record the movie.
In his e-mail to the Sun-Times, Weitz says there's a difference between trying to protect the film's copyright and prosecuting someone who "clearly seems not to have any intentions towards video piracy."
Weitz says he's contacted the film's studio about his concerns.

Respect Rob campaign continues
Source
Ok, I'm going to put my 2 cents in on this one and I'm sure i'm going to get bitch-slapped by every robgger out there. As much as I sympathize with Rob and respect the "He doesn't want this, neither do we" campaign, I also understand that he's the most sought-after man on the planet. As much as it sucks for him, it unfortunately comes with the territory. That's the reality. He's not the first actor/entertainer that has had to deal with over-zealous paps and/or fans. Snapping pics of him entering or leaving venues, hotels or restaurants is expected being that it is "public" space. I really believe Rob understands this. I think sometimes it's just hard for these celebrities to conceal their annoyance.
Everyone wants a piece of Rob. Whether it be from paps trying to make a buck, to the magazines wanting high circulation numbers, to tabloid tv wanting high ratings right down to Summit wanting to reep their efforts. How is this any different from fans stalking him for an autograph or picture? Or the multitude of bloggers regurgitating the same info and pics over and over?
I'm sure Rob would be humbled by the "Respect Rob" video, but he also realizes that his stardom, annoying as it may be, has also brought him the very same notoriety that will ensure a very amicable career. He has conveyed these feelings through various interviews that i've come across. He said in an interview that he expects this to die down after the Twilight saga runs its course. That he just has to ride it out.
Do we just blame the paps for this invasion or do we all share in the responsibility? "We" meaning all Robggers who share (drool) his every move, the media (tv and print), the establishments he frequents that tip off the paps as to his whereabouts, fans who tip off other fans and Summit Entertainment who pimps him out with a blitz of talk show appearances, promotional tours spanning the world and multiple fan conventions? And what about Robert himself? (ducking) The most sought after answer on everyone's mind worldwide is, "Is he or is he not with Kristen Stewart?" I believe by not answering directly with a "yes" or "no", it keeps the paps fervently in pursuit of THE photograph that will bear proof. It really isn't anyone's business whether they're an item or not. But why not give a straight answer, just to put the issue to bed? Speculation feeds fire and if you don't want to feel the heat from it, why not just put an end to the speculation?
TOR you rock and I totally respect and applaud your grass roots effort. My posted opinion is in no way meant to hamper your message to the intrusive paps. After all, it is just MY opinion and probably not worth a damn to anyone other than myself!
Call me selfish, call me an inconsiderate bitch if you must, but I'll continue to post any pictures I come across. If you feel they're intrusive, feel free skip over them or even leave a nasty comment if you must. I started Robert Pattinson Fix to share my findings, ALL FINDINGS, with those who share my obsession...

Robert Ponders His Post-'Twilight' Possibilities
FROM HOLLYWOOD CRUSH: Having been heralded to fame by the "Twilight Saga" and the once-fledgling Summit studio behind the mega-successful franchise, Robert Pattinson can't help but wonder sometimes if it's all just a fluke. "I've only done one movie outside of the 'Twilight' series, 'Remember Me,' "Rob recently said about his first post-fame project with Emilie de Ravin and Pierce Brosnan. "But even that I did with the same studio, so I guess I'm still a little bit blind as to what my actual economic viability will be outside of the series."
Robert will be testing that "economic viability" with several projects throughout 2010 including the Guy de Maupassant adaptation "Bel Ami" with Uma Thurman and the Western "Unbound Captives," which the actor discussed recently with MTV News.
