Summit Rep Dispels Pattinson Eclipse Rumors

Over the last few hours, whispers of unrest have emanated from the Vancouver set where Eclipse is filming pick-ups.

Robert Pattinson arrived in the Pacific Northwest a couple of days ago to participate. When he wasn’t in front of the cameras immediately after stepping off the plane, many outlets freaked.
Some even suggested a rift between Pattinson and director David Slade, and that the actor was refusing to be cooperative.

This simply is not the case.

As we speak, Pattinson is on the set filming, a source on the scene confirms to Gossip Cop.
“There are absolutely no problems,” a rep for Summit tells Gossip Cop, adding, “Today is the first day of shooting for Robert Pattinson.”

The pick-ups are underway, as scheduled, and speculation about problems should be curbed in favor of facts.

Robert in Tights?

Look I’m as ready to rake Sony over the coals as anyone, what they’ve done to Spider-Man is atrocious. But there’s no need to make it even worse by inventing fake casting rumors. In particular, fake casting rumors involving Robert Pattinson.

We’ve ignored the story as long as we could, but it’s spreading like wildfire. You’ve probably seen it by now. The report usually appears on a British tabloid or some sort of Perez Hilton equivalent which says it like this: “Robert Pattinson has been reported to be the top pick for Tobey Maguire’s replacement in Spider Man 4.” Reported by who? They never say. None of them do. That’s because it’s untrue.

They’re not telling you who reported it, because no one did. The story originated on message boards and in snarky joke posts where people theorized that his casting was the next move. I even saw his name in a few, pretty awful, randomly generated fantasy casting lists. Fantasy casting lists which also, rather horribly, included Michael Cera. Cera is now also being falsely reported as being in the running to play Spider-Man.

I’m not saying it couldn’t happen, I’m not saying it won’t happen. I’m just saying right now, there’s nothing out there to indicate that it will. Besides, Pattinson’s pretty busy. Odds are he’s unavailable even if Sony wanted him, since reports indicate that Pattnson is NBC's top pick to replace Conan O’Brian. Take that Team Conan!

Latest Robsten rumour

For all you ‘Vampire’ faithfuls, who have been sweating over the ‘mushy harvest’ of rumored ‘Twilight’ pair Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in the light of recent ‘buzz’ disclaimers, this should buck you up no end.

Indeed, certain reports in grapevine circles about Rob and Kris moving in separate circles and also of Rob denying the ‘flame’ rumors, would have justifiably raised a few ‘anxious’ eye –brows among  you ‘Vampire’ lovers!

However, following recent reports of Rob and Kris ringing in the New Year at a quiet English retreat , it appears that the ‘flame’ between the ‘Twilight’ sweethearts is still burning alight.
And of a further reassuring import is a report carried by Showbiz Spy, which claims that the much adored ‘Twilight’ twosome could actually be planning to relocate.

It further appears that, after enjoying a quiet tryst (or call it a ‘romantic getaway’ instead!) at a chilly English retreat over the festive weekend, the ‘couple’ are now game to buying a ‘love- nest’, at an untrodden corner of the globe, away from the din and glare of the Showbiz world.

An insider was quoted as saying to Showbiz Spy, “Rob and Kristen were only recognized a handful of times while in Ventnor. They loved it. They were able to walk around largely unnoticed — like a normal couple. They’ve talked about buying a property on island for when the pressures of Hollywood get too much.”

The idyllic resort town of ‘Ventnor’ has been a favored retreat for the likes of such celebs as Russell Brand, Kate Moss, socilaite Peaches Geldoff and crooner Amy Winehouse among many others, thereby bearing out the reasons as to why Rob and Kris would have zeroed in on the same.

Ventnor local Sally Perry, sought to testify to the resort’s ‘quiet’ reputation and was quoted as saying, “Well-known artists and musicians have found that they can live normal lives in Ventnor, away from the media glare. So others tend to follow suit by choosing our lovely town for their special getaways.”

Kristen Stewart on her alleged relationship with Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson

Kristen Stewart has explained why she has yet to address the questions about her alleged relationship with Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson. The reason? Twilight fans are so obsessed with it!

According to People News, Kristen Stewart told Entertainment Weekly, “I probably would’ve answered [the romance question] if people hadn’t made such a big deal out of it.”

People News also reports that Kristen Stewart does not feel that she has provide the media with information about her private life just because she has made the decision to become an actress.

Apparently, Robert Pattinson must feel the same way, as the Twilight actor also hasn’t talked about the romance that is apparently going on between the two. However, the two did agree to an interview with Harper’s Magazine, which you can read about here.

Kristen Stewart said that if she was asked if she were dating Taylor Lautner, who plays Jacob Black in the Twilight series, she would also not give any type of answer. She said, “I’d be like ‘F--- off!’ I would answer the same exact way” (People News).

The second installment in the Twilight Saga, called New Moon, will be released in theaters on November 20th. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will both be continuing their roles as Bella Swan and Edward Cullen in the movie.

Taylor Lautner will be playing a main role in New Moon and is getting a lot of exposure for looking much more attractive than he did in the first Twilight movie due to his new haircut.

One new celebrity whose performance many are anticipating is Dakota Fanning, who will play one of the Volturi.

One unlucky cougar

ScreenDaily.com announces in a 11/4/09 headlilne, “Pattinson, Kidman board Bel Ami for Protagonist,” and goes on to report, “In an intriguing star pairing, Twilight sensation Robert Pattinson is teaming with Nicole Kidman to star in Bel Ami, the film of Guy De Maupassant’s erotically charged story of ambition, power and seduction.”
The story was picked up EVERYWHERE, and reported as fact by numerous websites, including Perez Hilton.
So is it true?
Well, yes, it is based on a novel by Guy de Maupassant, and yes, Pattinson will play a cad.
What’s NOT true is that Kidman will star opposite Pattinson. While she did consider the project, the film’s timing didn’t work out. Kidman’s rep told Gossip Cop that “Bel Ami” is “categorically not happening for her.”

False Reports on Robert Pattinson anger loyal fans...

Robert Pattinson is currently one of Hollywood's hottest stars, with that comes a major fan following. Not only does he have a plethora of screaming women and girls who are in love with his talent, good looks, and charm, he also has the 'Twilight' fans behind him. Trust me, you don't anger the 'Twilight' fans.
Pattinson, 23, is constantly under media scrutiny and is commonly the subject of rumors and lies. Most recently, a nasty rumor about how he needs to go to rehab for substance abuse.  But thanks to Gossip Cop, who actually take the time to check the facts, fans can rest assure with out a doubt that Robert Pattinson does not need to go to rehab, and that those ridiculous stories are nothing but false reporting.
So, who was the culprit? The same tabloid who printed the story that Pattinson had gotten his 19 year old co star and rumored girlfriend, Kristen Stewart Pregnant, New Weekly Magazine.
The Australian tabloid already has a bad track record with Twi hards everywhere, but fans are incensed at these latest rumors.
The magazine claims that "friends" of the 'Twilight' hottie have come forth to say that Robert is "drinking to excess and indulging in other dangerous behavior. His people are very worried and starting to think he should go to rehab." The tabloid claims that Pattinson parties constantly in a his luxury hotel suite that includes three bars, "which are restocked every day."
The "friends" quotes get worse stating that "He loves the dive bar Loose Moose, where fights break out in the middle of the day and the nights are wild."  On several occasions his clothes have been stained with puke, and his shirt was once buttoned all weird."
Gossip Cop says they have "been speaking to people close to "Eclipse" and its stars for three months. No one has ever even hinted at Robert Pattinson drinking too much, let alone staging "a series of out-of-control benders." We think it's pretty shameful, even by tabloid standards, to write such nonsense with such weak "evidence."

Jackson Rathbone Mum On Robert Pattinson/ Kristen Stewart Rumors...

"It's none of my business.  I stay out of it", Twilight actor says.

BOSTON — When we got the chance to talk to "Twilight" star Jackson Rathbone on the set of his new movie "Girlfriend," we couldn't pass up the opportunity to ask someone deeply involved the biggest question surrounding the franchise: What is the deal with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson?
After a brief pause Rathbone carefully replied, "What's the deal with them? Oh, they're not actually vampires."
Despite our faux disbelief that Pattinson wasn't actually Edward Cullen, Rathbone insisted, "No, he's actually a really nice human. It's crazy, I know. I know. But yeah, the guy's a great guy."
Before "Twilight" had even debuted last November, there were rumors circling Stewart and Pattinson, with tabloids trying to figure out whether the two were romantically involved like their characters. And the fact that director Catherine Hardwicke said the reason she cast the pair was because of their potent sexual chemistry while doing a kissing scene on her bed — not to mention that Pattinson has admittedly proposed to his co-star four times — doesn't help.
"Everybody always asks me those questions about that, and it's one of those things — it's none of my business. I stay out of it," Rathbone said.
But despite the relative silence from the cast on the subject, tabloids — like OK! magazine this week — continue to cover supermarket checkout aisles with conflicting testimonies regarding the actors' relationship status.
"Whenever we're passing through the tabloid articles, we're always like, 'Hey! There's our friends!' " Jackson said with a laugh. "I've been able to stay out of them as much as possible."

Sometimes, less is more.  I do believe his answer, or lack of, speaks volumes.

In a Robsten kinda mood today

For "Robsten" fans who rejoice at word of their favorite couple doing anything together, Show Biz Spy  has some news that should make you happy. According to the online publication 'Twilight' co stars Robert Pattinson, 23, and Kristen Stewart, 19, are reportedly living together in Vancouver’s Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel.
A source told UK's More Magazine; “They have two rooms joined by a door. They use a third suite on the floor to listen to music or watch Blu-ray movies on a large, flat screen, when they stay in after a day’s shooting or on weekends.”
“They’re great. Every room has floor-to-ceiling windows and large, flat screen TVs and chandeliers. The baths double as Jacuzzis. And, best of all, that floor has its own butler and security.

“Robert and Kristen are transported to and from the set by accessing a private elevator system in the hotel that leads to a gated and guarded garage.”

The rumored couple who have yet to go public with their relationship are in Vancouver currently finishing up filming for the third installment of "The Twilight Saga, Eclipse."  The film wraps on Halloween where Rob and Kristen will then begin a promotional tour for the second 'Twilight' installment, 'New Moon.' The couple is rumored to be dreading this new promotional tour due to those pesky questions about their relationship.

New Moon fans desperately want to know if Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are really dating.
Yesterday it was claimed that they had moved in together.
A source told More magazine:"They have two rooms joined by a door. They use a third suite on the floor to listen to music or watch Blu-ray movies on a large, flat screen, when they stay in after a day's shooting or on weekends."


There has been no official word from either of them but some people are suggesting that they are just pretending to be dating to promote New Moon.
This is not true. They have always said they are just good friends and New Moon is going to be such a big hit that they don't need to pretend to date to get people to go and see the movie when it hits cinemas on Novemeber 16th.
If they are sharing a floor at the Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel then good for them. Rob's last hotel room was horrible as it had no windows so he deserves an upgrade.
We're sure that Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and the rest of the Eclipse cast will be keeping them company.
Rob, Kristen and Jackson Rathbone love playing their guitars together so at least it will give them more room to spread out.

The rumor mill is at it again...

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart won’t be heading Down Under for a tour of Australia — despite reports to the contrary.


Aussie tabloid Famous on Wednesday claimed the two Twilight stars — who are currently in Vancouver, Canada, shooting Eclipse — would travel around Oz to promote Twilight sequel New Moon, which hits theaters in November.“Movie bosses are pushing for Rob and Kristen to make a promotional push together through Australia,” a source told the mag.

Famous also claimed that negotiations were taking place for Rob and Kristen to put in an appearance at the Australian Nickeloden Kids’ Choice Awards. “An announcement will be pending,” a spokesman for the KCA was quoted as saying.

Kristen’s mother is Australian and Kristen has expressed a desire to visit. “She wants to check out her roots and bring Rob,” the mag quoted another source as saying.

But a Twilight insider insists there’s “no truth to the rumor at all”.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart caught arguing in public?

'Twilight' co stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been dodging questions about their rumored off screen relationship for months now. The two have been very careful about where they are seen, and what they do while they are in public. The slightest of slip ups and the their faces are plastered all over ever tabloid mag in creation.

The pair have been ultra stealthy, but did they give themselves away over the weekend? Reports have been flying in since the two were seen out together in Vancouver, where they are filming the third installment of the "Twilight Saga, Eclipse."

Pattinson, 23, and Stewart, 19, were spotted at Pinky's Steakhouse on Saturday night, where they dined with friends. After wards, they were forced to leave to a plethora of paparazzi flashing cameras in their faces. They quickly hopped in a cab and sped off. But they couldn't avoid those annoying paps.

The stars fled from the cab and into their hotel as quickly as they could, but they weren't fast enough. The paparazzi followed them in, and caught them waiting for an elevator. But they weren't waiting quietly. A paparazzi caught the two in what seems to be a small argument about something unknown. But the video clearly shows Pattinson apologizing and Stewart snapping back about not continuing until the paps were gone. Some say that the two random people in the shot with them, were a girl and her mother asking for an autograph, and that Kristen wanted to wait until they were out of the public eye before signing it. So, Robsten fans, is this the proof you've been looking for? Are they in fact a couple? These two have quickly become the paparazzi's new favorite target, and unfortunatley it doesn't look like it's going to stop any time soon.

There’s been a lot of speculation today about whether Pattinson and Stewart were arguing with each other. We looked again at the video – which we did not post to the site itself last night, which we will not post, and for which we did not pay – and spoke to a number of sources close to the stars. They told us they were NOT fighting. Rather, Pattinson and Stewart were greatly annoyed with the constant and intrusive paparazzi presence, and the fact that, because the hotel lobby was open, someone was able to invade their privacy when all they wanted to do was get in an elevator and put a suddenly very public evening behind them.

Rumor Mill: Robert Pattinson Not Set To Ride 'Dune's' Space Worms After All

After months of speculation that Twilight star Robert Pattinson might star in director Peter Berg's upcoming adaptation of Frank Herbert's "Dune," newbie gossip slangers Gossip Cop broke the scoop that Pattinson would be out of either the Dune role or his gig in Bel Ami, the sordid tale of a playboy adapted from Guy de Maupaussant's novel. Naturally, Twi-hards rejoiced at the news that RPattz will keep the role in which he romances ladies left and right, rather than the one in which he puts his hand in a pain box and rides giant space sandworms. Will Dune fans agree?

Truth be told, Pattinson was never confirmed for the Dune cast but heavy speculation had him pegged to play the part of young Paul Atreides, the heir to a noble family in writer Herbert's space opera. The character was previously played by Kyle MacLachlan in David Lynch's 1984 film adaptation and by Alec Newman in the Sci-Fi Channel's television miniseries Dune and Children of Dune. Berg's version, according to Variety, is intended to be a tent pole-level event film and has potential to kick start an entirely new franchise.


Personally, I'd prefer to see Pattinson in Bel Ami, if in fact this was a "choice" that came down to scheduling issues. My reasons are simple: A) The character drama will take less time to film than an epic, gigantic space blockbuster, and Pattinson just has to be available to film the as-yet unconfirmed fourth Twilight novel, Breaking Dawn (which itself might be split into two parts), and B) I'd rather see Pattinson love 'em and leave 'em in France than struggle with material that could be even cheesier than vampire grimaces and sparkling.

On a side note, let's consider the source. Gossip Cop is a celebrity gossip website launched last summer with the intent of "patrolling celebrity" and "busting bad dish." Essentially, they aim to deliver truthful gossip. The "Truth Meter" on the RPattz story goes all the way to "Real," so we can believe it even more, right? Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart ‘Romp in Changing Room...(Now that's what I'm talking about!)

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had a sneaky rompin a shop changing room, it has
been claimed.

The couple — who are currently in Vancouver, Canada, shooting the third Twilight movie, Eclipse — were apparently feeling “hot blooded” during an early September shopping spree at Black Market Village in Toronto.

“From the sounds that were coming out of the changing room, they were doing more than trying on shirts!” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“When they emerged minutes later they were mussed up and breathing heavily!”

Meanwhile, Rob and Kristen have apparently made no secret of their relationship while out and about in Vancouver.

“The whole cast comes in a lot together. For some reason, this is one of the places the paparazzi doesn’t constantly find them,” a hostess at an undisclosed restaurant recently told E! News‘ Awful Truth column.

“They’re in here all the time!

“It looks like they all really get along well. It’s always a fun table—they are laughing, joking and just very polite.

“Doesn’t everyone just know that Rob and Kristen are dating?

“Oh, well everyone here knows. They are the only cast members who will come in alone a lot. You can just tell by looking at them. They’re really cute together, always smiling.”

The hostess insists Stewart, 19, is no “bitch”.

“She is incredibly sweet — I’d be a bitch, too, if there were cameras constantly in my face,” said the waitress. “But she’s great, and so is Rob. They just seem to make each other happy.”

These rumors just keep getting better and better!

Robsten snub?

 

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart don’t hang out with the rest of the cast on the set of the Twilight films- according to new claims.Asked about a relationship between the pair Kellan Lutz, who plays Emmett Cullen, told E! News:

“They’re just so complex, and I like to laugh and smile… I don’t know what’s going on with them. I don’t hang out with Rob and Kristen.”

The young Twilight cast are currently in Vancouver filming the third movie Eclipse.

Seperately a source was quoted in Famous Magazine saying: “(They) are always off doing their own thing and they rarely socialize with the others anymore.

“They used to be part of what was one big happy Twilight family, but these days both of them seem to go out of their way to avoid the entire cast and crew.”

Another source added: “They always make some excuse, sneak off somewhere together and don’t invite anyone else along to wherever they’re going.”

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart relationship not confirmed in "Harper's Bazaar"

Harper's Bazaar Magazine story CONFIRMING their relationship is FALSE.  Although they DID shoot a feature story for Bazaar's December cover, a source close to production confirms that Robert and Kristen do NOT discuss whether they're a couple or not...My best guess is the rumor was a publicity stunt to hype the sales of December's issue.  Regardless, Robstenmania continues!

Pop Crunch is reporting that insiders at Harper’s Bazaar have revealed that Rob and Kristen fess up to their romance in the December issue of their magazine...

Robsten are sharing their love — on and off the set. Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will reportedly go public with their clandestine romance in a revealing interview on the pages of the Dec. issue of Harper’s Bazaar Magazine.
The tell-all interview with confirm months of speculaton romantically-linking the young stars of the wildy-successful vampire francise, insiders reveal in the Oct. 5 edition of In Touch Weekly.
“Rob and Kristen were relatively open about their relationship,” says a Harper’s employee who accompanied the couple to an Aug. 20 photoshoot for the magazine.

After reading about "Robsten" rumors since the begining of filming of "New Moon", I never really put much thought into it.  My take was that something was there while filming, but kept it on the low out of respect for Michael Angarano. But it wasn't until I saw this picture posted of them at the MTV VMA that I truly believed my gut.  I've looked at numerous pictures of them photographed together at events since Twilight and Robert was either standing alongside her with his hands in his pockets or his hand rested lightly alongside her waist....but this picture...well, it's obvious it's a bit more intimate. His arm has her cradled into him, while his hand is cupping her shoulder, while she has that "I feel special" look on her face... And the expression on his face? Well, I feel like I'm looking at Edward Cullen and not Robert Pattinson.
