The Lucky Rich Bitches from Taft
“Twilight” star Robert Pattinson caused a riot by sending a joke video message to girl of Taft Prep School in Connecticut.
Pattinson who is just about to begin filming of “Breaking Dawn” filmed a skit in Baton Rouge with director Peter Berg (see video).
The tape was shown to the girls at the school as part of their Halloween festivities. As soon as Pattinson came on the screen the girls exploded.
The headmaster, Will MacMullen, said that the students got so hysterical that they were considering calling 911 for help
Speaking to the school’s newspaper the MacMullen said “When the film was shown, it was deafening! Peter Berg has directed another blockbuster hit! I thought we were going to have to call in the medics—several of the girls looked as if they were about to have a heart attack!"
Pattinson was attempting to play a deadpan role in the skit (though he was obviously dying to laugh). The “Friday Night Lights” director and Taft alumnus, Peter Berg and Pattinson stood in the woods outside Baton Rouge during the skit.
Berg, who graduated from Taft in 1980, recruited Pattinson for the video to mark the school’s traditional Headmaster Holiday. Last year Berg also made a short film to mark the event.
The tradition dates back to the election of President William Howard Taft whose son was student. The school was given a short break in studies so his son could attend the inauguration.
In the video Pattinson says “Taft has been causing problems for a while now." Getting in some vampire jokes about the school, some students and teachers.
Berg asked him is he thinks it is normal that one student is the captain of three sport teams. Pattison calls it insane and says “I don't think it's normal at all."
Berg also bring up that fact that one of the faculty members appears to be getting younger. Pattinson says “I told him so many times he should have left that school, everybody's gonna find out."

Renesmee Cullen
For those of you who know the progression of Edward and Bella’s relationship, you know that they get married and eventually conceive a child. That child in Renesmee, their daughter, who happens to be a super baby thanks to her vampire blood. Bella doesn’t have a full 9 month pregnancy because of the baby’s accelerated growth. When she’s born she’s not your average infant. She’s physically stronger and her mental capacity is far more developed.
The creepiest part about her arrival on the scene is Jacob imprinting on her. We don’t care how sweet people try to make it, that’s just disgusting! From our knowledge, Renesmee is still a child at the end of Breaking Dawn but there have been rumors that they might age her to a 17 year old so she can be with Jacob. Once again, gross! The actress Foy, is currently 9 years old so it definitely looks like they’re making some changes to the character.

David Slade "Technical" in Directing Eclipse
MTV got the chance to catch up with The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse star Tinsel Korey ("Emily Young" in the Saga) recently, and they talked with her about her experience in working with Eclipse director David Slade as compared with New Moon director Chris Weitz.
"He's great," she said of Slade, "he's a really different director from Chris Weitz. Chris Weitz is . . . an actor's director, there's a lot more focus on the emotion, whereas David Slade was a lot more technical, so there was like a distance because he's always thinking about the fuller picture with a lot more of the fight scenes and stuff."
Korey's words echo those of several of the Eclipse castmembers who've spoken up about the director, including Xavier Samuel ("very technically astute") and Kristen Stewart ("very technical").

Robert Pattinson gives Oprah a Book
Many people have been asking us what book Rob gave to Oprah on her show. After a bit of searching (because I couldn’t understand the title) I was able to find it. The book he gave her was The Ballad of the Sad Café and Other Stories by Carson McCullers .

Reaction To The Eclipse Screening by Oprah's Audience
In the midst of the confusion yesterday where we tried to figure out what exactly was going on with the "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" world premiere, some very, very, very lucky "Oprah" guests we invited quietly to a little premiere of their own. Oprah taped her "Eclipse" show — set to air next May 13 — today, and to prepare her guests to ask topical questions to Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Dakota Fanning, she showed them an early cut of "Eclipse."
Yes, you read that right. Some "Twilight" fans have already seen "Eclipse," and they probably aren't you. But Twi-hards aren't the greedy type, and quickly took to Twitter to share their wealth of information with the world — one, in fact, exclaimed: "OH MY GOD!!!! Eclipse was absolutely AMAZING. Better then both New Moon & Twilight! Holyy crappp =O." In between the "OME!!"s and drooling, we were able to pick out some pretty interesting information that of course we are going to share with you.
There had been some concern after the final "Eclipse" trailer premiered that this third installment in the "Twilight Saga" would sacrifice the love story for the action (apparently everyone forgot the first trailer, which showed us otherwise). The unanimous response was that the love story is definitely still there, and it is very hot and heavy. This means, yes, the leg hitch, the tent scene and Bella and Jacob's kiss all make the final cut, and, as one Twitter user claimed, were enough to "get her turned on." And yes, the scene where Bella punches Jacob is also included, though we never doubted that it wouldn't be in the film.
But that doesn't mean that the action wasn't great either. This was an early cut of the film so some of the animation was still a bit off, but everyone seemed to think that it was the best action of the series. The fact Jasper was featured quickly but clearly in the second trailer's fight scene tipped us off to the fact that he and Alice were going to be pretty prominent in the action sequences, but apparently they get a lot more face time throughout the entire film, and actually get a chance to really interact with each other. Unfortunately, Jackson Rathbone's wig is supposed to be pretty bad, but Kristen's is better since the first trailer.
Which brings us to some other exciting news: everyone loved Jasper and Rosalie's flashbacks. We already knew that Jasper would be seen horse back in Civil War regalia, but apparently this was news to other people. As far as Rosalie's flashback goes, we read that her entire conversation with Bella lasts about five minutes, but the actual flashback is only about two minutes. This is kind of a let-down, but if a picture is worth a thousand words we're guessing David Slade was able to do a lot with those two minutes.
It's been a bit of a trend that fans keep labeling the newest director in each "Twilight" film as being better than all the previous ones (sorry, Catherine Hardwicke). Unsurprisingly, there were many claims that David Slade did a great job with "Eclipse" and that he's the best director yet, which is exactly what Chris Weitz predicted back when everyone was rallying around him after "New Moon." This also is allegedly the funniest of all the "Twilight" films so far, so if David can top "Face Punch," we're going to be really impressed.

Kristen Stewart & Taylor Lautner from Eclipse Re-shoot
The stars of Twilight Saga: Eclipse were in Vancouver this past week to do some re-shoots of certain film scenes. In the photo below you can make out Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner as they shoot a scene near the water. I don't see Robert Pattinson anywhere so I imagine this was one of the scenes where Taylor (Jacob) confronts Kristen (Bella) on her dangerous relationship with Edward (Robert Pattinson).

Bill Condon Reaches Out to Twilight Fans
I just want to say hello to all of you and let you know that I'm stoked to be getting underway on the adventure of making BREAKING DAWN. As you've probably heard, I've been given a very warm welcome by Stephenie and Team Summit - who are super-focused, as you know, on getting these movies right.
I'm pretty busy bringing myself up to speed on what you already know by heart: I've read BREAKING DAWN twice, rewatched Catherine's and Chris's movies 2-3 times each, have all four CDs playing in my car, and have Catherine's notebook, Mark Cotta Vaz's companion books, and even Volume 1 of the graphic novel here on my desk - a corner of my office is starting to look like Hot Topic. I realize that this barely qualifies me for "newborn" status in the universe you've been living inside for a few years now, but a guy's gotta start somewhere.
Like many of you, I've always been slightly obsessed with vampires, dating back to the prime-time series DARK SHADOWS, which I followed avidly as a kid. But that alone hadn't been enough to get me interested in making a vampire movie, even though my early screenwriting and directing efforts grew out of a great love for horror movies and thrillers. Since making GODS AND MONSTERS thirteen years ago, however, I've been yearning for a return to a story with Gothic overtones.
The wonderful world that Stephenie has created has obviously struck a chord with you, and I don't think it's difficult to see why. For me, her characters are simultaneously timeless, yet very modern. Rooted in a beautiful, real landscape with a great sense of place, Bella, Edward, Jacob, and the rest of the Forks/La Push menagerie, experience emotions that are primal, and universal: desire, despair, jealousy - and it all comes to fruition in BREAKING DAWN. This is a final chapter in the best sense; not just wide in scope and scale, but emotionally charged and intense throughout.
I'm a huge admirer of the already-iconic Kristen, Robert, and Taylor, and wanted to be the one to work with them as they face the challenges of bringing your beloved characters to the end of their journeys. Really, what could be more fun than that?
Please feel free to ask questions in the comments section below, and I'll do my best to answer them. I hope that this will be the first of many occasions I'll get to check in with you as we set to work bringing BREAKING DAWN to the screen. I am excited and grateful to have all of you alongside me for my TWILIGHT journey.
All best,
Bill Condon

Summit Rep Dispels Pattinson Eclipse Rumors
Over the last few hours, whispers of unrest have emanated from the Vancouver set where Eclipse is filming pick-ups.
Robert Pattinson arrived in the Pacific Northwest a couple of days ago to participate. When he wasn’t in front of the cameras immediately after stepping off the plane, many outlets freaked.
Some even suggested a rift between Pattinson and director David Slade, and that the actor was refusing to be cooperative.
This simply is not the case.
As we speak, Pattinson is on the set filming, a source on the scene confirms to Gossip Cop.
“There are absolutely no problems,” a rep for Summit tells Gossip Cop, adding, “Today is the first day of shooting for Robert Pattinson.”
The pick-ups are underway, as scheduled, and speculation about problems should be curbed in favor of facts.

Robert Out While Kristen and Taylor Re-shoot
We all saw the unshaven photos of Robert Pattinson yesterday out on the town with Sam Bradley when he was scheduled to be filming.
I did my set report last night stating that the schedule had been unexpectedly changed.
Yes, movies schedules change, but I can definately say that Rob was supposed to film all 3 days and hasn't.
So take that as you will and let's hope "official" word on this situation comes out soon.
Last I heard Rob was on set today and presumably filming though I've not seen him or photos of him to see if he has been groomed for filming.
As a fan, I am worried about trying to cram reshoots into only 3 days, 2 of which our star wasn't filming as scheduled, and only 2 months before the film is released, which is about a month before the final product should be completed. Promotion starts next week for goodness sake!!!
Time is ticking and it doesn't FEEL like things are going smoothly!
I am not trying to spread my anxiety or stir the pot, I am simply stating my own feelings on the projects current state. This is "Mandy's Mind" afterall!
As a fan I worry, especially because Eclipse is my favourite of the books and there has already been so much drama surrounding the film. The director choice and vision (newborns=zombies), the editor re-hire, the Bella wig, the recasting of Victoria, re-shoots, its been a rollercoaster of epic proportions.

Eclipse. Chapter 20. Compromise (Edward makes it official)
... "Do you mind if I do something?" he murmured, his arms tightening around me.
"Anything you want."
But he let me go and slid away.
"Anything but that," I complained.
He ignored me, taking my hand and pulling me off the bed, too. He stood in front of me, hands on my shoulders, face serious.
"Now, I want to do this right. Please, please, keep in mind that you've already agreed to this, and don't ruin it for me."
"Oh, no." I gasped as he slid down onto one knee.
"Be nice," he muttered.
I took a deep breath.
"Isabella Swan?" he looked up at me through his impossibly long lashes, his golden eyes soft but, somehow, still scorching. "I promise to love you forever - every single day of forever. Will you marry me?"
There were many things I wanted to say, some of them not nice at all, and others more disgustingly gooey and romantic than he probably dreamed I was capable of. Rather than embarrass myself with earlier. I whispered, "Yes."
"Thank you," he said simply. He took my left hand and kissed each of my fingertips before he kissed the ring that was now mine.
